But she'll also discover what she's destined to become. A powerful San Warrior. If she accepts her destiny, other will rally behind her, including her American friend, Tyler. And guided by her grandfather, she will learn to command the ancient magic of her ancestors...
...I was about to walk away from the bathroom mirror when I caught a glimpse of the birthmark just below my left ear. Something strange was definitely happening. The mark below my left ear had always been there, a barely visible brown stain. But over the past few weeks, it seemed to be changing. Growing darker. Almost like it was taking shape, like something under the skin was becoming more and more visible on the outside; more and more a part of me. Which more than terrified me...
